{"id":200,"date":"2013-04-11T12:38:32","date_gmt":"2013-04-11T11:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/derbyclimate.org.uk\/?p=200"},"modified":"2021-01-21T15:49:59","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T15:49:59","slug":"silk-mill-march-rally-2013-features-active-environmentalists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/derbyclimate.org.uk\/?p=200","title":{"rendered":"Silk Mill March &#038; Rally 2013 features active environmentalists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Support the\u00a0annual\u00a0Silk Mill march.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">10.30 am Saturday April 27th 2013<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Derby<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The march will go to the Silk Mill for the laying of the chaplet commemorating the struggle of the workers there in 1834 and will then continue back to the Market Square for speeches and entertainment, with the rally starting at midday<\/p>\n<p>Speakers include<br \/>\n<strong>Manuel Cortes<\/strong> General Secretary TSSA transport union\u00a0<em>and<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Romayne Phoenix<\/strong> People\u2019s Assembly steering group.<\/p>\n<p>Both are active supporters of environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Derby Climate Coalition will be running a stall.
